SPADEL is "l'entreprise de l'année®" 2017


Brussels, 16 October 2017. Spadel has been voted ‘L’Entreprise de l’Année®’ 2017. The beverage company succeeds the human resources company Daoust, last year’s winner. The other nominated companies are: Circus-Ardent Group, Colona and FACT Security. This is the 22nd consecutive time that EY has organised this event in conjunction with L’Echo and BNP Paribas Fortis. 


Spadel is a European family operated business specialising in the production of natural mineral water, spring water and refreshing beverages made with natural water. The group markets six brands: Spa and Bru in the Benelux, Devin in Bulgaria, Wattwiller and Carola in France and Brecon Carreg in the United Kingdom. Spadel is the market leader in the Benelux and has a strong regional presence in France and the United Kingdom.


The group currently has 1,287 employees and achieved a turnover of 250.4 million euros in 2016. Prime Minister Charles Michel, Wallonian Prime Minister Willy Borsus and Minister for Small Businesses, Self-employment, SMEs, Agriculture and Social Integration, Denis Ducarme, presented the trophy to Spadel CEO Marc du Bois.
